A little about myself, I'm a college student right now from Brooklyn NY and A full blown addict for rap music. I listen to just about everything but my main loves are the golden-era classics and newer underground music. This blog will serve primarily as an outlet for my opinions... everything from album reviews to rants and reccomendations.
While I don't agree with Nas when says "Hip hop is dead" - I do feel that the overall quality has greatly deteriorated; especially in last 10-15 years. We will get into all this later though, and in much more detail.
There's no set forumula here. I'll experiment with different things and see how it works out. This is my very first blog so I will try to learn and make it interesting as I go along. Feel free to add comments or suggestions and if you like what you see subscribe.
At the end of every post I will add an album that dropped on the same day as the post from whatever year as a reccomended listen. It won't neccessarily be the best album that dropped on that day.
